About us

Who we are and how we work

We are the Ipoh branch of Kinesio Rehab Physiotherapy Centre, and we start with how you live.

Who is Kinesio Rehab Ipoh?

We are the Ipoh branch of Kinesio Rehab Physiotherapy Centre. Our work is physiotherapy for people in Ipoh, delivered in two ways: a physiotherapist who comes to your home, and our centre at Canning Garden, near Fatimah Hospital, opening soon.

We started with a simple idea. Recovery goes better when the plan fits the place where you live, with its stairs, bathrooms and your own front door.

What do we do best?

We do best where getting to a clinic is the hard part. That includes people home from hospital, older adults who tire or feel unsteady, stroke survivors and families who need a plan they can follow.

Our home physiotherapy looks at how you actually move in your own rooms. The physiotherapist then builds a short set of exercises you can keep doing between visits.

We also treat back, neck and joint pain, sports injuries and children’s movement concerns. You can browse all of it on our services page.

How are enquiries handled?

WhatsApp is how every enquiry starts. You tell us who needs physio, what happened and your area of Ipoh. We reply with questions, then a quote for the plan we would suggest.

  1. You message us and describe the situation.
  2. We ask what we need to know and explain how a visit would run.
  3. You get a quote, and you choose whether to go ahead.
  4. We agree a day, and the physiotherapist visits.

Prices for home visits and for the centre are different. Read how that works on the fees page.

What is it like to be treated by us?

We listen first. The physiotherapist asks about pain, medicines, past injuries and what you want to do again, then checks how you stand, walk, climb stairs and balance.

Treatment starts in the same session. You leave with exercises you understand and a plan you can discuss with your family. Our first visit page explains what to expect and what to prepare.

How can you check a physiotherapist?

Physiotherapists in Malaysia must register with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC) and hold a valid practising certificate, according to a June 2026 news report [1]. We welcome the question from every patient.

Our guide on how to choose a physiotherapist in Ipoh lists other things to ask.

What are we still confirming?

We prefer to say so than to guess. Our clinician introductions, spoken languages, centre address and opening hours will appear on this site once they are confirmed.

Until then, WhatsApp is the best way to ask. Read more on how care works or go straight to contact.

Questions people ask

Is Kinesio Rehab Ipoh part of Kinesio Rehab in Selangor?

Yes. We are the Ipoh branch of Kinesio Rehab Physiotherapy Centre, which also runs a website at kinesiorehab.com.my for its Selangor work. This site is about care in Ipoh, so we describe only what we offer here: home visits now and the Canning Garden centre soon.

Who will be my physiotherapist?

We are still confirming which clinicians will be introduced on this site, and names will follow. When you message us, ask who will visit and what languages they speak. You can also ask for their registration and practising certificate details before the first session.

What languages can I use with you?

This site is written in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese, and you can send your WhatsApp message in any of them. We are confirming which languages each clinician speaks during sessions, so tell us your preference and we will answer plainly.

Where is your centre?

Our Canning Garden centre, near Fatimah Hospital, is opening soon. We have no opening date or full address to share yet. Home visits are available now across Ipoh, so you do not need to wait for the centre to begin.

How do I start?

Send a WhatsApp message saying who needs physiotherapy, what happened and which part of Ipoh they live in. We reply with a few questions, how a first visit would run and a quote. The page on your first visit explains each step.
