Who is responsible for your information?
Kinesio Rehab Ipoh, the Ipoh branch of Kinesio Rehab Physiotherapy Centre, handles the information you send us. We follow the principles of Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
This page explains those principles in plain words. It applies to this website and to enquiries you send us on WhatsApp.
What do we collect?
WhatsApp is our only enquiry channel. We collect what you write and send there: your name, phone number, and details about the patient such as age, condition, surgery dates, medicines and photos of reports.
Health information is sensitive, so we ask only for what helps us plan care. You can start with a short description and share documents later.
Why do we use it?
We use your information to answer your enquiry, to suggest home or centre care, to give a quote, to arrange visits and to look after the patient safely. That is the purpose you give it to us for.
We ask you first before using it for any other purpose. If you are writing for someone else, we ask for the patient’s agreement before treatment.
Who can see it?
Only our team members who need it to look after you. We share information with another party only when you ask us to, for example a doctor or insurer, or when the law requires it.
Your messages also pass through WhatsApp, which has its own terms and privacy policy. Read them if you want to know how the app treats your chats.
How do we keep it safe?
We keep chats and documents on devices and accounts that our team controls, and we limit who has access. Please avoid sending identity card numbers or bank details in your first message, because physiotherapy planning does not need them.
If you share documents, send only the pages that matter. We delete what we no longer need.
How long do we keep it?
We keep information for as long as it is needed to care for you and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you.
What can you ask us to do?
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, and to stop us using it for a purpose you did not agree to. You can also withdraw your consent.
Message us on WhatsApp with your request. We will confirm who you are and respond. Some treatment records have to be kept for a period by law, and we will tell you when that applies.
What about this website?
At the time of writing, this website does not run analytics or advertising trackers. The WhatsApp button opens a chat with us on your own device.
If we add tools later, we will update this page first and say what they collect and why. Check how care works and our terms of use for the rest of the picture, and see the disclaimer for the limits of our web pages.
How will we tell you about changes?
We will update this page and its date when something changes. Questions about anything here go to us on WhatsApp, as described on the contact page.
