How we write and check our pages

What we write, where facts come from, and how to tell us when we are wrong.

Who writes these pages, and for whom?

Kinesio Rehab Ipoh is the Ipoh branch of Kinesio Rehab Physiotherapy Centre. We write for people in Ipoh and Perak who are in pain, recovering from surgery or illness, or arranging care for a parent. We write in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese, and each language is written fresh for its readers, not translated word for word.

Our aim is simple. After reading a page, you should understand your situation a little better and know what to ask next.

Where do the facts come from?

Every number, percentage and statement about research on this site comes from a named source. We use official statistics, WHO fact sheets, clinical practice guidelines, systematic reviews and news reports from established outlets.

Each fact shows its source and the date we checked it. If a source is a news report rather than the law itself, we say so. If we could not confirm something, we leave out the number and write the idea in plain words.

Our methodology page explains how compiled ranges and comparisons are put together.

What do we keep off these pages until it is confirmed?

Pages here describe how care works and what to expect. Promises of results, outcome figures, reviews and ratings stay off until we can show the evidence behind them. Other clinician names, years of experience and patient counts wait until they are confirmed and ready to show.

Details such as our centre address and opening hours will appear once they are final. Until then, we say the Canning Garden centre is opening soon.

How do we keep comparisons of Ipoh providers fair?

We describe what other providers list on their own websites, with the date we read them. We stick to what a provider publishes about itself, and we leave prices, ratings and staff to the provider. Every provider is described with respect and listed without a ranking.

We then explain what we offer, home physiotherapy across Ipoh now and a centre opening soon, and who it may suit. You decide. Details change, so we ask readers to confirm with the provider before booking.

How are pages reviewed and updated?

Pages are drafted from the sources above and checked against them before they go live. Our clinical editor is M Thurairaj, a physiotherapist registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC). M Thurairaj sets the clinical standard these pages follow and checks clinical content for accuracy and safety.

We revisit pages when a source changes, when guidelines are revised, or when a reader points out a problem. Each page carries the date its facts were last checked.

How do we handle advice about your own health?

Our pages give general information. They do not diagnose you or replace an examination. Your doctor and physiotherapist come first.

Some situations need urgent medical attention, not a web page. Read when to seek medical care, and see our disclaimer for the full wording.

How do I send a correction or a question?

Message us on WhatsApp with the page name and what looks wrong or unclear. We check it against the source and reply.

We update the page and its date when a correction is needed. For how we handle your message, see our privacy policy.

Questions people ask

Where do your numbers come from?

From named sources such as government statistics, the World Health Organization (WHO), clinical guidelines and published reviews. Each number on a page links to its source with the date we checked it. When a reliable source is missing, we write the point in words, without a number.

Can I trust the page about my condition?

Use it to understand what is happening and what questions to ask. It cannot examine you. Your doctor and physiotherapist know your history, so their advice comes before anything you read here.

How do I report a mistake?

Message us on WhatsApp with the page name and what looks wrong. We check it against the source, correct the page if needed, and update the date. A named source or a link in your message helps.

Do other providers pay to be on your comparison pages?

No. We describe what providers say publicly on their own websites, with the date we read them. Listings are free and unranked, and no provider pays to be featured.
