What does stroke recovery at home look like in Bercham?

How do we prepare an estate house?
Estate houses may have a bedroom upstairs. If the survivor cannot manage the stairs yet, a bed downstairs for the first weeks may be wise. Ask your doctor and the physiotherapist.
- Clear a path from the bed to the toilet.
- Fit a rail where the person turns or stands.
- Keep a chair near the front door for resting.
- Light the stairs and the bathroom at night.

What about a walk-up flat?

Children can be part of recovery without carrying a burden. A teenager can remind Dad of the exercises, set out the chair or walk beside him with an adult. A younger child can bring the water cup or choose the music.

How do we handle reviews and school-zone traffic?
