How do I book home physiotherapy in Ipoh Garden East?
Send us a WhatsApp message with the building or street, the floor and the main problem. We reply with how the first visit would run and a quote after a short description.
The Ipoh Garden East area page describes the neighbourhood. For the service itself, read home physiotherapy.
What should I tell you about my building?
Access decides how the first session is planned, so a few details help most.
- The floor, and whether the lift works.
- The number of steps from the lift or gate to the door.
- Whether visitors register at a guardhouse or with management.
- The state of the floor at the entrance when it rains.
If you live in a house instead, tell us about the gate, the porch step and any slope.
What happens in the first session?
The physiotherapist asks what the patient wants to do again, then looks at how they get up, walk and manage the bathroom. In a block, we spend time on the corridor and landing, because those are where daily walking happens.
If stairs are part of life, we practise them with someone beside the patient. You leave with a short exercise set for the days between visits.
What if the roads flood?
Heavy rain has flooded roads here, including the stretch near Jalan Perajurit. On those days, send a message and we move the visit rather than risk the journey or a slippery entrance.
The short home set keeps the habit going. Do it beside the bed or a chair, and tell us afterwards how it felt.
Which hospital papers should I send?
Families here may hold discharge papers from Hospital Fatimah or Pantai Hospital Ipoh in Ipoh Garden. Others come from KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital or Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun. Send a photo of the discharge summary and the medicine list before the first visit.
If the patient was operated on, our page on post-surgical rehabilitation shows what recovery stages look like.
How can a child abroad help from a distance?
Be the one who writes to us. Describe the situation, share the papers and ask for a summary after each visit. Then, on your next call, ask your parent to show you the exercise.
Our guide to caring for a parent in Ipoh from Singapore covers the rest. If the patient is recovering from a stroke, read stroke rehabilitation at home in Ipoh Garden East.
