What makes Tasek different for a home visit?
Tasek is a residential and industrial suburb north of the city. Family homes sit close to workplaces, and schools such as Sekolah Kebangsaan Tasek Dermawan and Asia Metropolitan International School are part of the daily routine.
A physiotherapist visits your home, checks how you move in your own rooms, and treats you there. For a shift worker or a parent with a school run, that can mean a visit before work or after school instead of a trip to a clinic.
Our home physiotherapy service is available now across Ipoh.
Can you help with work aches from the factory floor?
Yes. Standing for long hours, lifting boxes and repeating the same hand movement can strain the neck, shoulder, wrist and lower back. The physiotherapist checks the painful area, looks at how you stand and lift, and shows exercises for home.
Our pain management page explains what a first session looks like, and the workplace ergonomics page shows how to adjust a workstation.
If an assessment shows that you need a doctor, a scan or time off work, we say so plainly.
How do we fit visits around shifts?
Send your shift pattern on WhatsApp. We then suggest times that suit you, such as early morning before a shift, a free afternoon or a weekend slot.
It helps to tell us:
- Which days and hours you work.
- When someone is at home.
- Whether the pain is worse at the start or end of a shift.
- If there is any heavy lifting in the job.
What about grandparents at home while the family works?
In households where both adults work, a grandparent can be left on their own through the day. A home visit can be set for when a helper or family member is there.
Our older adult rehabilitation page covers balance, strength and falls. We also send the exercises by message so the family can follow them in the evening.
