Where can you find physiotherapy around KMC Mall?
The provider we found that lists KMC Mall as its address is ReViVA Physio-Rehab Centre. According to Ipoh Echo, its grand opening was reported in March 2024 at KMC Mall, Jalan Chung Thye Phin, Taman Chateau, within the Kinta Medical Centre grounds (accessed November 2026) [1].
The same report lists post-surgery, stroke, sports, Parkinson’s, sciatica, neck and back care, women’s health and children’s physiotherapy, plus hydrotherapy and a robotic hand rehabilitation system [1]. Confirm the current services with the centre.
What is special about it?
The hydrotherapy pool is said to have a hoist for people with limited mobility [2]. Ask the centre whether the pool is open and who it suits today.

Should you combine physio with a medical visit?
Combining the two saves one trip, which matters for a parent who tires after an hour. If your specialist is at Kinta Medical Centre, you could ask whether the physiotherapist can see you after the appointment.
It helps to bring the doctor’s notes, any scan reports and a list of medicines. Ask the physiotherapy centre whether it can work within what your doctor has advised, because the doctor’s instructions come first.
When does a home visit save you the trip?
A parking space, a lift, a corridor and a waiting room can use up the energy of an older person. After a stroke or an operation, that energy is better spent on the exercises.
A physiotherapist who comes to the house starts where the real problems are: the bed, the bathroom and the stairs of a terrace house. In Ipoh, with the afternoon heat and the traffic around the town centre, staying at home can be the kinder choice. Our home physiotherapy in Ipoh page shows what a visit looks like.
How do you choose between the two?
This table helps you decide. Pick the column that fits your usual day.
| Your situation | A centre trip may suit | A home visit may suit |
|---|---|---|
| Can walk and travel without tiring | Yes | Possible |
| Needs a pool or special equipment | Yes | Not for that part |
| Tires easily or feels unsteady | Harder | Yes |
| Problem is stairs, bathroom or bed | Partly | Yes |
| Family wants to watch and learn | Possible | Yes |
Both can work together. A person may use the pool at a centre and add home visits for the stairs.
What if your doctor at Kinta Medical Centre suggests physiotherapy?
Ask the doctor what to avoid, how long, and when the next review is. Then bring those answers to whichever physiotherapist you choose.
Our guide to surgeon rehabilitation instructions explains how to turn the doctor’s words into a plan. Never skip a review because physiotherapy has started.
