Physiotherapy near Fatimah Hospital, Ipoh

You or a parent were treated at Fatimah Hospital, and you want physiotherapy that is easy to reach.

What is available near Fatimah Hospital?

Two things, one open and one coming. Home physiotherapy across Ipoh is available now, and our Canning Garden centre, near Fatimah Hospital, is opening soon.

Fatimah Hospital is a private hospital in Taman Ipoh. We are an independent provider with no link to it, so we say “near” only to help you picture where the centre will be.

Who is this useful for?

People who have left Fatimah Hospital after surgery, a fracture, an illness or a stroke. Also families who want a physiotherapist they can reach in the same part of Ipoh.

If you live in Ipoh Garden, Canning Garden, Taman Ipoh Selatan or the streets around, our Canning Garden area page and Ipoh Garden page explain how home visits work there.

Should I choose home or centre?

For the first weeks after surgery, home is usually easier. Use this as a guide.

You want equipment for stronger workLaterYes

Our home vs centre chooser goes through it step by step. The in-centre physiotherapy page explains what the centre will offer.

What should I bring from the hospital?

Bring or photograph the discharge summary, the operation report, the medicine list and the date of your next review. If the ward physiotherapist gave exercises, bring them too.

The surgeon’s restrictions come first. See our checklist for after hospital discharge in Ipoh for the full list.

What happens in the first visit?

A short talk about what happened and what you want to do again, then a look at how you move. The physiotherapist checks the safe range of the joint, your walking, your balance and the home set-up.

You leave with a few exercises you can do that day and a plan for the next visit. Read more on post-surgical rehabilitation.

What about the centre once it opens?

It will suit people who can travel, want gym-style equipment and prefer to come to a set place. We will update this page when it opens, and not before.

If you went to a different hospital, see our pages for Pantai Hospital Ipoh and KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital.

How do I start?

Message us on WhatsApp with the diagnosis, your area and what worries you most. We reply with how a first visit could look. Prices differ between home and centre, and we quote after a short description.

Questions people ask

Is your centre open near Fatimah Hospital?

Not yet. Our Canning Garden centre, near Fatimah Hospital, is opening soon, and we will say so on this site when it opens. Home physiotherapy across Ipoh, including Ipoh Garden and Canning Garden, is available now.

Are you part of Fatimah Hospital?

No. We are an independent physiotherapy provider. Being near the hospital describes location only. We make no claim of a link with it, its doctors or its rehabilitation team.

I had surgery at Fatimah. Can I start home physio straight away?

Usually yes once you are home, but your surgeon's instructions come first. Bring the operation report and restrictions to the first visit, and we will build exercises around them. Ask your surgeon about timing if you are unsure.

Should I wait for the centre to open?

Early movement and a safe routine matter in the first weeks. You can start at home, and move to the centre later if that suits you better.

How do I get a price?

We have not published a price list. Tell us on WhatsApp what happened, which area of Ipoh you live in and whether you want home or centre, and we quote for the plan we suggest. Home and centre prices differ.

Every body is different. For a diagnosis that fits you, see a registered physiotherapist or doctor, and seek urgent care for sudden weakness, numbness, chest pain or severe pain after a fall.
