Who offers home physiotherapy in Ipoh?
At least seven providers list home visits in their public information, and we are one of them. The table shows what each lists. Our guides give the sources and dates.
| Provider | How home visits are listed | Our guide |
|---|---|---|
| Agape Mobile Physio | A home-only service | Agape guide |
| PrimeMotion | A centre that also lists home physio | PrimeMotion guide |
| BeLeaf Physiotherapy | Housecall services on its own site | BeLeaf guide |
| Alpro Physio | Home physio listed with its services | Alpro guide |
| DBC Active | Home visits listed on a directory | DBC guide |
| Western Acupuncture & Exercise Medicine | Home visits listed on a directory | Directory listing |
| Squat Rehab | Home treatment, including at the bed | Directory listing |
Squat Rehab’s WhatClinic listing includes home treatment at the bed, with stroke rehabilitation, sciatica and shoulder and knee rehabilitation among its services [4]. We offer home physiotherapy across Ipoh now.
What is published about sessions and fees?
Little. Agape’s own site states that each session lasts 1 hour 15 minutes, with transport and portable equipment included in the fee [1]. It does not state an RM price on its home page.

Why are home-visit prices hard to compare?
Providers price differently. Some include transport, some add a distance charge, some sell packages and some quote per plan. Session lengths also differ, so a lower price can buy a shorter visit.
That is why a written quote for the same number of sessions is the fairest comparison. Ask each provider to say what the price includes.
What seven questions make two services comparable?
- Who will visit, and are they registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC)?
- Will it be the same person each time?
- How long is a session, and does the time include travel?
- What does the fee include: transport, equipment, a written plan?
- Does it cover my street, and is there a travel charge?
- What do you send afterwards, such as exercises or a summary?
- What if I need a centre or equipment later?
Which home service fits which family?
A home-only provider may suit a family that wants a fixed visit format and nothing else. A clinic with housecalls may suit a family already using that clinic. A provider with both home visits and a centre may suit a recovery that changes over months.
Ipoh homes add their own questions: a terrace house with a first-floor bedroom, a condo with a lift, or a shophouse with a steep stair. Our guide to home physio in Ipoh terrace houses and what a home physio brings cover these.
Where do we fit?
We offer home physiotherapy across Ipoh now, and our Canning Garden centre, near Fatimah Hospital, is opening soon. That means a recovery can start at home and continue in the centre when the person is ready to travel. Prices for home and centre differ, and we quote on WhatsApp.
